 students using assistive technology

Please join us for the first annual Technology Trot to be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Stapleton Central Park.   Your participation helps the Guild raise funds to provide grants for educational assistive technology to students who learn differently.  The NIH estimates that 1 in 5 students have a learning difference that may be supported by assistive technology devices in the classroom.  Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to providing solutions for students with learning differences:

"[This].....is very helpful because when I take notes I dont write everything down so I cant remember everything. I am very glad we have the technology to have theys at our school and so they can help us.  When I use this pen I feel alive with the conversation because I can go back and lision to it in the near future.  I am really glad we can have theys at our school and teachers that can help us with it. Im super glad that we got to use it :)"  -  a testimonial from one student who benefitted from a grant provided by The Listening to Learn Guild, Inc.
